Calendar of Events
Step back in time and experience true relaxation when you spend your Texas vacation at Delta Street Inn in the historic town of Jefferson. During your stay at our East Texas bed and breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll through downtown Jefferson, where you can shop for antiques and gifts and enjoy some good old-fashioned home cooking and baked goods. Depending on what time of year you visit, you may be able to participate in one of our annual festivals or special events, including Mardi Gras, Pilgrimmage Tour of Homes, Civil War Reenactments, the June Bug Jamboree & Balloon Fest, the Marion County Fair, the Holiday Trail of Lights, Candlelight Tour of Homes and much more.
Of course, you’re always welcome to just relax and enjoy the comfort of your guestroom at the Inn. However, while you’re here, you might want to take a ride on the Jefferson & Cypress Bayou, a live steam, narrow gauge railway that takes passengers through the Piney Woods and along the banks of the Big Cypress Bayou. Nearby Caddo Lake is hauntingly beautiful and is the state’s only natural lake, as well as the home of the world’s largest cypress forest. Lake O’ the Pines provides outdoor enthusiasts with excellent opportunities for fishing, sailing, waterskiing and jetskiing.
Can’t decide what to do? We’ll be happy to assist you in planning your daily itinerary. In the meantime, check the listings below for upcoming events and activities in the Jefferson, Texas area.
